Guitar amplifiers, especially combo amps, are torture chambers to vacuum tube microphonics. Herbie's extra-duty Guitar Amp UltraSonic Damping Instruments feature titanium C-rings and extra-soft, jumbo-size isolation pads for extra vibration control. Guitar Amp UltraSonics eliminate tube rattle, tube whistling, and microphonic oscillation that might be too severe for other damping instruments to handle.
These are superb damping instruments also for hi-end home audio, delivering pinpoint imaging and detail, outstanding transparency, delicate nuance and sense of "air," with highly punctual dynamics.

Changing Gear? Guitar Amp UltraSonic isolation pads can be slid off one titanium C-ring and onto another. If you need a different size than what you have, spare C-rings are available, so you don't have to buy a whole damping instrument to change sizes.

These tube dampers are magic. I've used them in a Pro Jr on the preamp and power tubes and just put a pair on the 6L6s in my Hot Rod Deluxe. Not only did the horrible tube rattle disappear immediately but the amp now sounds way better. Bass is tight and clear, trebles have sparkle and the whole sound is richer and more 3D. It's such a simple mod - 100% worth the investment. The results are fantastic.
Used in EL-34 hifi amp next to open baffle speakers. Definitely reduced glare. All the Herbie’s products I’ve used have been effective.
Great product and great service. Thanks so much
These solved my long running muddy low end problem in my AC30 - turns out it was vibrating tubes! Thanks so much! Easy to install, simple fix.
Have a '57 Mullard long plate ECC83 in my guitar amp that was microphonic and became noisy beyond use. Being as these tubes are expensive and hard to find I gave Herbie's Guitar Amp UltraSonic a shot. I found it to solve all of the issue the tube was having. I experimented with the placement of the UltraSonic on the tube and discovered it changes the tone and response depending where it's placed. Placed about 1/4 inch from the tube end and am very happy with the tone! I highly recommend for noisy or flubby tubes but experiment with the placement for best results.
try again later after installation
Putting the UltraSonics Rx on the four critical tubes of my Audio Research Pre amp eliminated artificial brightness and produced rich focused images. At any level, the sound was never fatiguing yet alive and exciting. My Martin Logan Montis never sound so good. The UltraSonics were far superior to my sorbane and EAT tube dampers. Ultrasonics are an amazing audio bargain.
