Loudspeaker spikes are more effective when used in conjunction with Herbie's dBNeutralizer decoupling, especially with wood or suspended floors, whether carpeted or bare. Likewise, if your spikes couple firmly to your cabinet and are themselves solid and relatively free of coloration, they will complement Herbie's Decoupling Gliders very well by easing some of the workload and making the Gliders even more efficient. (Herbie's Cone/Spike Decoupling Gliders are used under your present spikes or cones.)

Features fiberglass-reinforced dBNeutralizer(tm) decoupling base and extra-thick brass, stainless steel or titanium disk. Fitted into Magic Sliders, they can be used on virtually any kind of floor, bare or carpeted, with easy-sliding mobility. Extra-deep conical indentation prevents spike from slipping out when lateral pressure is applied. Suitable for audio racks, stands and loudspeakers of virtually any weight.

Regular: 1-3/8" diameter by 1/2" tall. With speaker load, height from bottom of Glider to bottom of conical indentation is about 5/16" (8mm).

Giant: 2-3/8" wide by .67" tall (conical indentation is .144" deep). Recommended for severe vibrational environments and all speakers weighing over 150lbs

Brass: superb hi-end results with most audio systems (our default recommendation).

Stainless steel: superb hi-end results with most audio systems.

Titanium: best-looking and best-sounding results possible.

Tweakers delight

Normally not a reveiw giver, but here goes. I've been into audio for 40 plus years now and in the last 10 discovered how effective small tweaks can be when you have the system setup good to start. It's not always about big gear changes. I've always used spikes for speakers regardless of floor type and the last 25 years have been through carpet over concrete in a dedicated room. I have always thought I was missing just that last bit of "reality" in voices. I came across a Herbies ad and found their decoupling spike gliders and figured for the price I'd give it a shot. It has been the best money I've spent in a long while, the change is not at all subtle and if you are setup, especially on concrete like I am you will be amazed at your new soundstage especially the human voices now standing in front of you. I have 2 more systems in house and will be ordering more of his products after the Christmas season is over. I've used Herbies smaller feet under bamboo platforms with good results also on numerous pieces of gear but these are next level. Thanks for such a great product at real world prices.

Cone/Spike Decoupling Glider

I purchased 9 giant size titanium Cone/Spike Decoupling Gliders in Aug 2024 to facilitate moving my A/V racks on padded carpet ... the loaded weight of my 5-leg rack and 4-leg rack is 350 lbs and 125 lbs respectively. The gliders make it much easier to move these heavy racks away from the wall for access to rear connections. I have since ordered 16 more to improve the mobility and sound of my 130+ lb. speakers. These Decoupling Gliders have not only made it easier for this aging audiophile to 'tweak' his system but their use has made both obvious and subtle differences in the sound of my system ... tighter bass, mid-range definition, imaging, etc. Recommended for either or both of the benefits this product offers.

Wonderful addition to my system

At a certain level of performance, everything matters, including spikes for your speakers. Herbie’s Cone/Spike Decoupling Gliders are the fourth set of spike decoupling I have tried. And they are by far the best I have tried, and by quite a margin. I always ask my spouse to come and listen to the same tunes we always listen to when trying changes in my system without mentioning what was changed. That Herbie’s decoupler improved the sound quite a bit was confirmed. Highly recommended. These little things can make your system better and better.

Herbie Decoupling Gliders

Only thing I can say is how well this product works for my Quadraspire rack and Kudos 606 speakers. I have used many of Herbie's products and for the money they are all unbeatable. I'll also say that in my environment the Gliders, in particular, are superior to several products 2x to 5x their prices.

Cone /Sike decoupling glider Titanium

Hello I was so impress with these glider for my speaker than I order them for my rack as well .Everyting was on spike to wood floor. with a small piece of felt between to avoid damage.(not always working ...(speaker B&W Cdm7nt and Rack quadraspire)) Whoo I can hear the bass now , everything is more separate and musical. And I can moved them without worry about the floor anymore . Very convenient for speaker placement and changing cable on my system , I just pull the rack and I have access to everything. I recommend.

Watch now, I'm gonna slide . . .

Bought new floor standing speakers that have carpet spikes. Instead of removing them, I bought these glides as I take the time to find the proper position in my carpeted room. I can easily move them by myself. Once I have them dialed in I will remove them and evaluate their sonic merit. Even if I just use them for moving the speakers they were worth the investment. Very solid construction and they look good.

Speaker Isolation

Placed these under my Legacy Focus SE. Made the bass more musical and mids and highs much better clarity. The sound stage became more deeper. Took an awesome speaker to a phenomenal speaker. Definitely recommend

Decoupling Glider

The increased clarity after replacing the stock Focal Kanta No. 2 spike cups (suspended wooden floor) was very obvious. Huge improvement.

"Open the sound bay doors, HAL."

These isolators are IMPRESSIVE - far and away superior in both form and function to the factory-supplied metal pucks that accompany speaker models with floor spikes. Tighter, more accurate bass and the mid & high freqs open up as a result, and better imaging as well. I didn't realize how much interaction my towers were having with the floor and how detrimental it was to the sound until I implemented these little jewels. Also you get the added bonus of speaker mobility on hard flooring. I see what everyone is raving about with these. Great work, HAL!
