Fat Dots With Hush Puckies - Excellent
I put the Fat Dots and Hush Puckies to use with my Mission 770's. Greater clarity in the mids and tighter bass. I tried the Fat Dots on their own, the Hush Pucks on their own and each is an improvement. The best is, you guessed right, both.
Best speaker isolation
Without Fat Dots, your speaker sounds like whatever it sits on. With Fat Dots, you hear only the speakers. For my isolation needs, it’s only Herbie’s Audio Lab.
Herbie's Fat Dot
I'm a repeat customer, you can always expect quality products from Herbies Audio Lab. The Herbie's Fat Dot's I recently purchased perform exactly as advertised, providing more clarity to the music when used with all 3 brands of speakers that I own.
4 big fat dots between speaker cabinet and plinth
I have some fairly heavy floor standing speakers (62lbs each), and Herbies recommended putting 4 big fat dots between the speaker cabinet and the plinth (and only hand tightening the bolts). I had to buy longer bolts to attach the plinth, but it was totally worth it. I thought they sounded good before (they’re $5k speakers), but the big fat dots definitely provided more clarity and ambiance to the music. My wife (who didn’t think she’d notice anything) was surprised at the difference. My speakers sit on a wood floor over a crawl space. I’m not sure whether the benefits would be as noticeable on a floor that doesn’t resonate as much. Best inexpensive tweak that I’ve found!
Best fat dot bundle value...
Aside from being a wider footprint over standard dots, the overall value makes this the best purchase under $100 for similar fat dot combos of your own design.
Huge improvement! Love these!
Highly recommended!
I’m still in amazement over the results I’m getting from Herbies Fat Dots. It’s the icing on the cake! I will definitely be adding more of Herbies products to my system!

Like Running Shoes for My Speakers
I love my Revel Performa speakers. These floorstanding speakers were just resting on a hardwood floor and I noticed some very slight rocking from uneveness in the wood. A couple of folded paper shims stopped the rocking, but did not help to give me the best sound. I added 5 fat dots to each speaker bottom and affixed them with 2-sided Gorilla tape to the base plate. No more rocking, but more important, the sound improved. While these speakers have great soundstaging, they actually opened up even more. Midrange has more natural presence. Bass is tighter and cleaner to the point where I needed to tone down my satellite subs output to compensate. The very high frequency notes warmed a bit and became more listenable at higher volume levels without being shrill. Overall, while I love my speakers, Herbies Fat Dots made them better.
Did everything I expected and more
I got Herbie’s Square Fat Dots to both isolate my EPOS ES11 speakers from the stands and to raise the speakers enough to optimize bass. Worked like a charm. I couldn’t find the proprietary open frame EPOS stands that are recommended so I had to use stands with a flat upper plate. Enter Herbie’s Fat Dots which accomplished both missions. They make these classic British monitors sound like much larger speakers. Mid range and treble are clear and resonance free. Imaging is now sharper and deeper. Wow. I’m sold and plan to buy additional Herbie’s products in the future.
Herbie’s Fat Dots
Very nice footer between my Audio Note speakers and Sound Anchor stands. Way better then blu tak
Fat Dots - square
I purchased a set of Fat Dots to place between my B&W 805 D3 speakers and Solid Steel SS-6 stands. The dots are serving their purpose and are the perfect decoupler for this application. Fat Dots and Solid Steel stands are a perfect match. IsoAcoustic pucks are too large for most top plates on stands. I love the low profile look of the dots. They are much better than using blutac.
