Used Grungebuster dots under my turntable feet

Originally bought these for a different use case, but had a change in plans . Instead, for the fun it, tired this under my turntable feet that was already sitting on an isolation platform. Immediate improvement! Everything fell into place sound wise, I can clearly pin point instruments and singers within the soundstage. It sounds like the band or singer are in my living room. Love it!

I love this mat and these dots! the sounds I am now getting from my upgrades are for sure an extra pleasant surprise every time! and the way excellent 2 turntable mat is quite a looker as well, and to me a straight up raging beauty. VPI Prime Center Spindle Washer 1/8”

Purchased the center spindle washer, 5/8” for motor feet and 2” dots under the turntable feet. Don’t know if one or all together reduces grove noise and added clarity. I can tell you for the money you can’t go wrong with a full treatment. I also have the periphery ring and duel pivot adapter.

Extra-thick Grungebuster Dots for Turntable Isolation

To support and isolate my (KAB modified) Technics SH1210M5G turntable I replaced the stock feet with brass spikes, which rest on a maple board. Four of the Extra-thick Grungebuster Dots are sandwiched between this board and the top shelf of my Sanus rack. The isolation effect is excellent, and the role of the Dots quite significant. For example, they are more effective here than the cork-and-rubber pads often recommended for this type of isolation scheme.

Grungebusters are Great

Mounted my Extra Thick Grungebusters on the base of each component footer of my audio components. Difference was quite remarkable and all traces of vibration are gone. Great product and a great company!
